Update Your KYC Details

As per RBI guidelines, banks are required to periodically update customer identification details to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) norms. Keeping your KYC details up to date is essential for seamless banking services and regulatory adherence. South Indian Bank provides a quick and secure online facility for updating your KYC details without visiting a branch.

Steps for updating KYC Details

Before submitting your KYC update request, ensure that you have scanned, duly signed copies of the required documents in PDF format (max. 500 KB each).

  • Enter your account number and complete the captcha validation.
  • Upload the required documents in the designated fields.
  • Submit the request, and your details will be verified by the bank.

Documents Required

  • Valid Passport – Ensure both the first and last pages are part of a single file.
  • Proof of NRI Status – Documents issued by foreign government departments, such as:
    • Valid Visa
    • Residence Permit
    • National ID with address
    • PIO/OCI Card
  • PAN Card or Form 60 (if PAN is unavailable).
  • FATCA/CRS Declaration – Available for download from the bank’s Forms Section.

 Note-  Tourist and B1/B2 visas are not accepted.
