Any South Indian Bank customer can pay tax online through SIBerNet once the transaction facility is activated.

Over The Counter: Through all SIB Branches

Cheque/DD of SIB/Other banks – No Transaction Limits. Cash Payments - Up to Rs.10, 000/- through all SIB Branches

Direct Tax Payment Guide

Pay your Taxes Effortlessly

  • Visit the IT e-filing portal and select ‘Pay at Bank Counter’
  • Choose payment mode – Cash, Cheque or Demand Draft
  • Select South Indian Bank, download the challan
  • Visit any SIB branch to pay and collect your receipt

  • Visit IT e-filing portal click here
  • Generate Challan
  • On payment page, Choose Net Banking Payment Mode & Select South Indian Bank from Other Banks.
  • Continue to Login to SIBerNet using credential.
  • Approve the transaction and complete the Tax payment.
  • For a corporate entity, transaction has to be approved by checker (wherever applicable).

  • Visit e-filing portal click here
  • Generate Challan
  • On payment page, Choose Payment Gateway Mode & select South Indian Bank
  • Select the mode of payment from debit/credit card, Internet banking or UPI.
  • Complete the payment from your desired Bank Account

  • Choose E-Pay Tax / Visit e-File menu & select E-Pay Tax from the dropdown
  • Download challan receipt - Go to payment history menu and for the respective CIN, download the challan receipt by clicking three dots under action menu

Two Modes viz Over the Counter (Cash, Cheque, DD) & Internet Banking -SIBerNet

While generating a challan on TIN 2.0 portal for payment of Direct Tax, the customer needs to select the option of “Pay at Bank Counter” from the payment modes available in the portal.

For Online Payments:

Retail Customer- Rs. 5 Lakhs which can be enhanced up to Rs.50 Lakhs using Debit Card Instantly.

Corporate Customers - Rs.15 Lakh and to further enhance please visit the nearest branch.

Tax payer can remit the taxes under cash mode up to Rs.10, 000/- per challan.
