Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya ,Kakkanad celebrated The 78th Independence Day with zeal and patriotic spirit on August 15, 2024. The event commenced at 8:30 AM with a well-coordinated March Past led by the Cadets of NCC and Scouts and Guides . The program began with a solemn prayer followed by the pledge.The Welcome Address by Master Vishal S J ,Senior Head boy set the tone for the day’s celebrations. Smt. Kalyani N P ,Principal ,Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya ,Kakkanad, hoisted the national flag.The entire gathering then sang the National Anthem in unison, filling the atmosphere with pride and reverence.The message by the Principal inspired ,motivated and encouraged the students to value the freedom earned by countless sacrifice and reminded them of their duties as responsible citizens Shri Anuraj N ,Teacher Dept of Mathematics delivered the day’s message .The independence day celebration was enhanced by a vibrant cultural fiesta ,featuring performance from students of all grades. Kindergarten students brought a delightful charm to the event with their performance . Declamation , dance ,mime ,skit and patriotic songs by the students of std 8 to 12 made it a memorable and proud celebration. The NCC cadets performed the NCC Song, resonating with the spirit of discipline and dedication.Sri Arun Sasi ,President P T A, Smt Sapna ,Teacher in charge ,Bhavan’s Bala Mandir, Kakkanad Smt Jyothi P and Smt Indu S Vice Principals, Smt Jyothirmayee P , Assistant Vice Principal, Parents,Teaching and non teaching staff were present. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Master Aushin Krishna ,Junior Head boy, expressing gratitude to everyone involved in making the celebration successful.The day was filled with a deep sense of pride, patriotism, and a renewed commitment towards the nation.
