The library at Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya has a rich collection of books, reference materials, audio visual files, periodicals, journals, etc. Students from classes I-XII have access to the library which contains more than 15000 books. The students are allowed to take one book at a time for a period of 15 days.The library follows the open access system and is automated with KOHA Open Source Software. The library also subscribes 15 magazines and 5 newspapers. The new arrivals are systematically displayed. The bulletin board in the entrance of the library displays the current affairs, school news, science news etc.
The library also provides a good space for students who participates in the quiz competition. The enthusiastic students spend their free periods in the library referring G K books, books on Indian and world history etc. The 'Kids Open Library' is to inculcate the reading habits among the primary class students. The' mini library' is open to all the children from class I-V during the lunch break.
All students are utilizing the virtual library very effectively and all are participating in the NDLI Club activities.
